Despite the skyline of a modern metropolis, Kuala Lumpur has always been charming and full of character. On this tour, we'll take you to see the contrast between the old Indo-Moorish architecture and the ultra modern edifices. The Historical Malacca tour brings you from Kuala Lumpur to Malaysia’s historical city where you’ll catch some amazing sights of heritage buildings and ancient landmarks. Experience the new flavors of Kuala Lumpur cuisine by joining our Gourmet Tour. Tasting such superb food is certainly going to make this experience unforgettable.
Day 1: Kuala Lumpur
Your vacation begins at Kuala Lumpur, capital city of Malaysia. Upon arrival at Kuala Lumpur Airport, you will be welcomed by Representative, before proceeding to the hotel for check in. Later in the day, you can visit the shopping centre around Mid Valley at your own leisure.
Day 2: Morning Half Day City Tour (BREAKFAST)
After breakfast in hotel, we will a slow drive and enjoy the scenic view of many of places interest in Kuala Lumpur including a photo stop at the KLCC Twin Tower, King's Palace and National Mosque. We’ll be visiting historical sights such as Handicraft Centre, Cocoa Boutique, National Monument, National Museum (Exclude entrance fee) and Sultan Abdul Samad Building.
Day 3: Afternoon Half Day Gourmet Tour (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
Free at own leisure in the morning. Make your own way down to Shaw Parade, meet up with our local guide to start your gourmet tour with a variety of traditional food for you to savour. We’ll start off with lunch, choose between Roast Pork or Bak Kut Teh. Next, we will head to Bejaya Times Square (option Low Yatt/ Sungai Wang) for some shopping, followed by Local Dessert at Pavillion. There will also be a shopping stop at Ferrenhite or Massage (own expense). Our final stop will be a Buffet Dinner at Jagoya or Chinese Set Dinner at i-Dragon. Tasting such superb food is certainly going to make this experience unforgettable.
Day 4: Malacca (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)
After breakfast, we will depart Kuala Lumpur and head for Malacca. Upon arrival, we will historical sights such as Bukit China or Chinese Hill - the largest Chinese cemetery outside of China. Stop at the foothill to view the Sultan's Well before driving through the Portuguese Settlement. Visit the famous gateway, ‘Porta De Santiago’ and the ruins of St. Paul’s Church lined with 17th century Dutch tombstones.
After lunch, we will visit Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, the only temple where you can find 3 major doctrines of local Chinese beliefs of Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism. There will also be photo stops at Famous Jonker Street & Red Square, the oldest Dutch building in the East. You might like to do some more shopping for their local products before heading back to Kuala Lumpur.
Notes: Wear comfortable walking shoes.
Day 5: Kuala Lumpur (BREAKFAST)
This morning, free at own leisure till your transfer to Airport for our flight back to your lovely country. Home Sweet Home!
