A) 3 Days 2 Nights Mt Kinabalu Climbing Tour ~ Via Timpohon Gate

A) 3 Days 2 Nights Mt. Kinabalu Climbing tour

0930hrs pick up from the city hotel and proceed for about 2 hours drive through scenic mountainous countryside. Upon arrival, check into the Kinabalu Park Hostel and continue tour to Poring Hot Springs for about one hour drive. As you arrive, a must visit is the Treetop Canopy Walkway which 20 minutes hike is needed. Experience the height of 41 metres above the ground and length of 157 metres. Or you may just take a dip in the open air Japanese styled bathtub which the hot sulphuric water is believed to have curative powers. Late afternoon, return to the hostel. Evening, dinner at Balsam Restaurant and overnight stay at the hostel.
Day 2 (B / Packed L / D)
After breakfast, 0800hrs transfers to Kinabalu Park Headquarters and register for climb. Then, meet the mountain guide and collect your packed lunch before transfers to the starting point of the Mount Kinabalu, Timpohon Gate which located at 1,866 metres above sea level. Start trekking up the mountain. The packed lunch can be consumed along the way as the trekking will take about 4 to 6 hours. There are 6 shelters along the way where you can refill your water bottle. Upon reaching at 11,000 feet, check into the dormitory mountain hut. Free at leisure. Evening, dinner and overnight stay at the mountain hut.
Day 3 (B / L)
Wake up call by your Mountain Guide at 0230hrs. Get ready your torch light and starts conquer to the summit of Mount Kinabalu. The trekking will take about 3 - 4 hours. You must reach the summit (Low’s Peak ~ 4,095.2 metres above sea level) for you to witness the spectacular sunrise over the majestic Mount Kinabalu. Descend to Laban Rata for breakfast. Check out and start trekking down to the Timpohon Gate. Transfers back to park headquarters to collect the certificate of achievement. Lunch at the local restaurant and return to Kota Kinabalu.

The above rates are not applicable for Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Puasa, Christmas, school holidays period or any other day whereby a surcharge will be imposed. This will be determined once the final confirmation is made.
Booking must be made 30 working days prior to the arrival date and 50% deposit is required upon confirmation of booking. The balance of payment due must be paid within 14 working days before tour commence. If less than 14 working days prior to the arrival date, full payment is required upon confirmation of booking.
Please take note that only 50% of the full payment shall be refunded upon cancellation made in less than 7 working days before tour commence. 100% cancellation charge is imposed for cancellation within 48 hours or in the event of no show, or any goods and services that are not utilized.
Payment must be made by BEFORE DATELINE AND bank into our company’s bank account. Please forward us a copy of the bank-in slip for our reference. Otherwise the payment must be settled by credit card (VISA or MASTER CARD) which a 5% surcharge is imposed with your authorized signature in our authorization form and you are required to sign on the confirmation booking and forward us the copy of the confirmation.
Anyone participating in any tours or holidays organized by the company shall be regarded in every respect as carrying his/her own risk to loss or injury to person or property. The company does not accept responsibility for losses or expenses due to delay, sickness, weather, strikes or other travellers. The company reserves the right to alter routes, timetables, itineraries & accommodation reserved as and when necessary or in the case of force majeure.

0930hrs pick up from the city hotel and proceed for Kinabalu Park in a two hours drive passing through remote villages with great scenery of valleys. On the way, stop by at Nabalu Fruit Market. Upon arrival, register for next day climbing and visit the Exhibition Hall and Mountain Garden. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, proceed to Kinabalu National Park for check in. Evening, dinner at lodge restaurant. Overnight at lodge.
Day 2 (B / Packed L / D)
0800hrs after breakfast, heading to Kinabalu Park headquarters for registration. Then, together with mountain guide, transfer to the starting point of Timpohon Gate.Start trekking up the mountain. The pack lunch can be consumed along the way as the trekking will take about 6 – 7 hours. Upon reaching at 11,000 feet, check into mountain rest house. Overnight at Mt Hut rest house.
Day 3 (B / L)
Wake up at 0200hrs and start trekking up to the summit. The trekking will take about 3 – 4 hours. At 0600hrs, you will witness the glorious sunrise over the majestic Mount Kinabalu. Descend back to Laban Rata and breakfast. Check out and start trekking down to the Timpohon Gate. Transfers back to Park headquarter to collect certificate of achievement. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, depart back to Kota Kinabalu in the afternoon.
